"Your journal is your autobiography, so it should be kept carefully. You are unique, and there may be incidents in your experience that are more noble and praiseworthy in their way than those recorded in any other life. What could you do better for your children and your children’s children than to record the story of your life, your triumphs over adversity, your recovery after a fall, your progress when all seemed black, your rejoicing when you had finally achieved? Some of what you write may be humdrum dates and places, but there will also be rich passages that will be quoted by your posterity."

Wish we were here!

This is where we are suppose to be today thru the 19th . We ended up cancelling our Hawaii trip. The timing was just a little off for our vacation away from kids. Both boys seem to be having a little bit of separation anxiety. I wasn't comfortable leaving them when they were still waking up through the night yelling mama either. I was also nervous about calling in favors and asking various family and friends to watch them each for a couple days. It is also close to Christmas time. We are super sad and we ended up eating the cost of our plane tickets. I can't complain, I found them for a KILLER DEAL! $99 each way! We are sad, especially with the weather we are having here, but we are also glad to be at home with our 2 boys! Our group still ended up going on the trip and when we talk to them it makes us a little regretful, but all in all we will survive! Thanks for letting me shed my tears =)

Maybe another time Hawaii!

New, New Moon Trailer

Check out the New Moon Trailer! I don't think I can wait until November! In the meantime I will have to get my kicks from that new series Vampire Diaries! Which by the way was entirely comical! I read on one of the message boards that they thought this trailer contained spoilers, but come on seriously! Like we haven't all read the book and watched the first movie! BTW I think Dakota Fanning looks AMAZING!

Walks Around the Block

I love summer nights! One of our favorite family activities is just to take long walks around the neighborhood. Jaxson and Kolby LOVE riding around in their red wagon and checking things out. One of Jaxson's favorite things is to point EVERYTHING out that he sees on our walks, rock, tree, car, truck, grass, dirt, bike, house, dog you get the picture. Kolby LOVES waving to all the primary kids out playing. Lewis and I teach the Valiant 7 girls. They are so cute. Kolby isn't old enough for nursery so he comes with us and often times Jaxson leaves nursery to be with us too. The primary kids eat them up! The boys love the attention. I am waiting for a break (wink)!

Happy First Birthday

I can't believe my baby turned ONE on the 28th of July! Where did the time go??? When Jaxson turned one I didn't feel bad because I was already half way through my pregnancy with Kolby. This time my baby turned one, and there was nothing to expect. When Jaxson turned one we didn't put away any of the baby stuff because we knew it was going to be used again shortly. This year all the baby stuff went into storage =(
It seems like yesterday that we brought our sweet baby boy home. He looked like an angel. You could instantly tell there was an innocence to Kolby. He has such a sensitive disposition about him. Jaxson and Kolby were so different, so different that I didn't know babies could be that different.
Kolby was the EASIEST delivery. I went in to be induced and when they hooked me up to the monitors I was already in labor. Go figure? Two hours later with total ease, in fact the doctor asked me to slow down or the baby would come flying out like a cannon ball, Kolby was born.
We are so lucky to have such an easy going baby. Nothing bothers Kolby. He never gets upset and can always tell when things get crazy and he finds ways to entertain himself in those times. He is always to first to come and hug and kiss me when I need a pick me up and every morning he wakes up grinning from ear to ear.
We love you Kolby boy! We hope this next year all your birthday wishes come true!

He kept looking at us with this look like, are you sure you are going to be mad at me?

Time goes by too fast! You have this feeling like they will be babies forever when you bring them home!

Just Keeps on Going

My least part of vacations is that nothing stops at home. The weeds get taller, the mail stacks up, the laundry piles up, the phone messages get backed up and the e-mails flood up my box! I swear it takes days just to get your head back up above water.

Here is what our laundry looked like when we got back, surprisingly enough I did get it all done in one day! Oh how I love you LG front loaders!

My boys love coming home too! Breakfast in front of their favorite movie, Sandlot!

Vacations are so much fun, but when did they become so much WORK??????

July 4th ion Midway

Happy 4th of July! The boy's went golfing, yes AGAIN and this time they golfed right next to our cabin. It was too early for me and the boys when they went by, but my mom got up and said hi to them. Here we were playing waiting for the boys to finish up~Once the boys came home we drove up to Park City to play at the Alpine slides.

We rode the chairlift up and down. The boys had a GREAT time. We were all a little nervous about them getting restless and wanting out and screaming, but they did great. The boys also had a great time riding the Merry-Go-Round.
After our fun filled afternoon we headed back to the cabin to cook up a 4th of July BBQ!
Then we made our way over to the Oakley Rodeo for some fireworks and fun entertainment. Kllby had a blast watching. Jaxson got a little restless, but overall had fun!
Thanks Mom and Dad for such a fun 4th of July!

Midway Day 3

The boys had fun playing at the park and feeding the ducks! In the evening we had dinner downtown and walked around. We also took a fun wagon ride.
Later that night we set off some fireworks and watched a movie!

Midway Day 2

The boys went to do some more golfing the next day so my mom and I hung low with the boys until the came back. Jaxson LOVES Pinnochio. We made him step back and not watch it so close! His favorite part is the song "There are no strings on me!".
Jaxson had fun playing in the hot tub. We were right on the golf course. While we were home we had one ball come up on the deck and another hit the window! Jaxson had fun going out to get the lost balls.
We did some shopping at the Park City Outlet! The aisles are never wide enough for a double stroller!
Then the boys had fun riding the little quarter machines!

Our Trip to Midway

My parents came to Utah to spend the 4th with us. We all stayed in a cabin up in Midway. We had a ton of fun. The first day the boys went golfing and I had to work, so my mom watched the kids. It looks like they had a ton of fun!

Jaxson wishing he could have gone golfing with daddy and grandpa.

Kolby showing grandma how much he liked his Easter present

He couldn't pick them but he could smell the flowers.

I guess he go thirsty

And then tired!

BackYard BBQ

Last minute we decided to have a backyard BBQ with Mitch's family. The kids had a blast and the Smores were a hit. Jaxson was so sugared up he actually went to bed early! Go figure!

There was a big pool too, but for some reason everyone liked this cheap baby pool much better.

From Dry to Wet in 60 Seconds

I tub both boys together and then pull Kolby out to get him ready and then Jaxson. I had just finished Kolby and went to pull out clothes for Jaxson. I went in to pull Jaxson out of the tub and his brother had decided he wasn't done either. I was so sad. I literally had just lotioned and clothed him 60 seconds ago! Look how proud he is of himself!

Summer Backyard Fun

We had a great time enjoying our backyard and the little pools!

Kolby discovery the art of drinking a Capri Suns. When I can buy them for .50 a box he can have as many as he wants too! Jaxson LOVED having his own strawberry patch. He helped himself daily!

Happy Father's Day

We had a WONDERFUL Father's Day this year. We surprised Mitch with breakfast in bed and gave him his present. We gave him a golf net thing, that he can practice driving into and we made shirts on them that the boys wore that said we LOVE dad. Then we gave him a basket with a swimsuit, lei, beach ball and smoothie mix. He was confused what the gift was, but then I told him that I was taking him to Hawaii in November. He knew we had talked about going, but I made it official when I bought the plane tickets. We invited all of our families to go with us and Mitch's parents and Nate and Amy decided to come! We are excited and can't wait!

After church we packed up to spend the evening with Mitch's family. We had yummy diner and cake. We also played some fun games. We played the candy bar match up game and had an ugly tie contest.

It was a great way to celebrate our dads and husbands of our children.

I am grateful to have such a wonderful daddy to my kids. Our boys mean everything to Mitch. Mitch has never hesitated to get up and comfort one of the boys when they wake up during the night. No diaper is too messy for him. No snack is to sugary for the boys and no play is too rough. Mitch loves his little shadows and they love him. I am so glad that he is such a wonderful daddy.

I am also grateful to have such a wonderful dad in my life. He has taught me so much. He has always been such a good example to me. I remember him coming into my room to wake me up and singing "wake up and do something more than dream of your mansions above.." I look back on that and miss it. My dad always had such fun things planned for us and always encouraged my brother and I to be the best we could. I love you dad and am grateful to have such a wonderful example in my life.

We are also so grateful for Mitch's father, Jon. Jon is so influential in his own silent way. When he speaks you know you better listen up because what he is about to say is important. He doesn't lead by words, but by actions. He would give the shirt of his back to anyone in need. He loves the grand kids beyond measure and is always lending us a helping hand. I am sad that my dad lives so far away from me, but I am happy to have such a wonderful father in law so close by.

Happy Father's Day 09

Twins Turn 1!

Sawyer and Fisher turned ONE! It flew by too! It seems like they were just born yesterday!

They had their birthday party at the Mona park. It started to rain so hard we ended up back at Nate and Amy's to watch them open their gifts.
We love you Sawyer and Fisher and hope your birthday wishes come true!It rained like it never rained before!
Jaxson had a great time running around and playing in the rainy weather. Nothing slows this kid down!

We love the park!

Rub a dub dub, 5 babes in a tub! Look how many cute little babies there were at the party. Sawyer, Fisher, Kolby and Kinnley are Mitchell cousins and Abby is Sawyer and Fishs' Matthewson cousin!

Crazy Mommies

Mitch's parents once a year take all the grand kids that are school aged to "grandparent" camp. It is the neatest thing EVER! Neither one of my kids are old enough to go, but it also gives a chance for us mommies to get together with just the little ones. This year we ate lunch here in our backyard and took the kids to see the animals at Animal Country at Thanksgiving Point. My kids LOVED it. Kolby loved the pony rides and Jaxson didn't care for them, but there was this little and I mean days old baby horse that Jaxson couldn't get enough of!
We didn't get to do everything we had planned on our list that day, so a few days later my sister in law Amy and I took our kids to the Lehi Legacy Center. Now if you know Amy, you are laughing at us because she has 2 sets of twins and I have two kids under the age of 2! So, you know how brave or crazy we must have looked at the pool with 3 babies under one, one 2 year old and 2 5 years olds. I couldn't believe how well we actually did. No drownings or disasters. Jaxson did well in the zero depth pool and then decided he need to get into the big boy pool. He refused to wear is life jacket because he thinks he can swim by himself, so I had my eye on him the whole time. I watched to see how close he would get to getting in without me and it took NO time at all. He jumped right into the deep end. I jumped in after him, but was surprised that he knew to grab the side of the wall and hang on. He just came up smiling and laughing. That was when I knew it was time to go. Amy and I joked by the end of the day, that we should have utilized the life guards more and let Jaxson run, so they could do their job. The boys and I had a GREAT time!
Kolby, Fisher and Sawyer eating lunch. Kolby spent a ton of time in the stroller while I kept my eye on Jaxson. He was so busy Amy had to help me keep an eye on him too! Adi and Gage had a great time and were little fishes! They kept Jaxson entertained too!

He wouldn't even hold still for a picture! He was way TOO busy having fun!

Chocolate Treats

Jaxson was riding in the car and found his little treat bag in the back seat on top of my diaper bag. Mitch and I were visiting and then realized how quite our little Jaxson was being. This is what we turned around and found. He had been helping himself to TREATS!

Great Grandma and Grandpa Visit

The first week in June, my cousin Eric graduated from highschool and my grandparents from Washington came into town. We weren't able to make it to Eric's graduation, but we had a great time getting together with my family on Saturday for a pizza party and day at the park
Great Nana and Papa came down with my Aunt Doreen to see us at our house! The boys had a great time showing them all their toys and tricks!
Grandma and Grandpa live on Lopez Island in Washington. It is beautiful! On the island they have a little place called the "dump". It is live a Savers or Thrift Store. Everyone takes there unwanted stuff there and it just gets traded around. It's all FREE and my grandparents have occassionaly stumbled upon some serious STEALS! They surprised the boys with these GREAT toys. A bike, that looked BRAND NEW.....
And a "Woody Wagon"!!!! The boys LOVED their new toys. Jaxson and Kolby look so cute being pulled around in there wagon!
Then we headed down to the park to play. The boys loved all the attention. Everyone pushed them in the swings, caught them at the bottom of the slides and played tag with them. They were in heaven with all the fighting over who would play with them next. Mitch and I enjoyed the little break too!

Here are my cousins, Marissa and Holly. I have so many fun summer memories with them. We all had cabbage patch dolls we toted around, built forts, played little pet shops and spent days at Lagoon together. Its fun to see how time flies by. We are all married now with jobs, families and responsibilites. It was so much fun catching up and playing together!

April Showers Bring May Flowers

April Showers, Bring May Flowers.
Everyday I remind myself that Jaxson is 2 and along with that Mitch and I have learned we are in uncharted territory. We are getting used to the tantrums when you don't put the right spoon in the cereal bowl in the mornings, or if we want a shower instead of a tub at night. We have yet to attempt potty training (LOL wouldn't it be funny if I trained both boys at once? I have seriously entertained that idea). Jaxs' words are getting more clear by the day. I love that when we drive in the car he has to tell us about everything he sees; bike, rock, car, truck, dirt, tree, grass etc. Jaxson is full of life and has so much energy. I had no idea somebody could go as fast as he does. His new favorite thing right now is Pinocchio. If I would let him he would watch it over and over. He loves the part with Monstro the whale. He still loves the Sandlot and I can't get over that he laughs at all the right parts. Hi laughs hysterically when that BIG dog jumps through the black and white movie theater screen. Everyday we learn more about our sweet boy and are grateful for the spirit he brings into our home.
Kolby turned 10 months!!! I couldn't believe it. He is becoming such a little ham. He loves to make playful faces and bury his head into you lap when he wants to be cute. He has started standing up on his own. He is such a fast little guy. I can't keep up with him. Jaxson didn't even crawl until 10 months. Kolby even knows a few words, mama, dada, bubba (bottle), hi and uh oh. Kolby is still waking up through the night once and I just don't have the heart to let him cry. I say its me, but if I don't get up Lewis does, so I guess its really both of us. Kolby still loves to eat and gets very upset if someone is eating and doesn't share with him. Kolby's little personality is just shinning through and we are loving getting to know him as he gets older. We are so lucky to have such an easy going baby. One high strung baby and one complacent baby! I think we'll take them both!
In attempts to save money for upcoming tuition Lewis sold his last baby. I was so proud of him. He watched that bike ride off and I thought he was going to chase after it. Oh, but don't feel sorry for him. Mitch is thoroughly enjoying the wonderful golf weather. He golfs at least 5 out of the 7 days a week. He has a wonderful friend, Chris, that he goes with most of the time. Em and I have been know to call one another and complain about their hobby, but when all is said and done we are glad they have something they enjoy!
The boys are starting to play a little more together. The only other thing I can say is just wait until Kolby can get Jaxson back. When that day comes I will probably just let them duke it out between the two of them.
My dad celebrated another B-day on the 7th. We wished we could have been with him, but thought of him all day. We hope his day was wonderful. Grandpa came down for a visit when he came into town for some business. Jaxson and gampa had a blast together. Jaxson loves his gampa. We practiced gampa over and over in preparation for his visit and now he won't say gamma anymore, only gampa.

We spent a fun day at Chuck-E-Cheese. Both boys love it there. Neither one of them has any concept of earning tickets, so Mitch makes up for them. Both boys ended up leaving with lots of toys and treats! Thanks daddy!

For Mother's Day this year we spent the day with Mitch's family. Unfortunately not everyone was able to be together (gosh, when did life get so busy?) so we spent the afternoon at our house with the Hadleys and Mitch's parents. We cooked steak on the grill and had a really yummy dinner outside. After we went to visit Mitch's Grandma Parcell with the family. We had a great time playing games and visiting together. For Mother's Day Mitch gave me one of the best presents ever. Since I started Grocery Smarts I have been unable to find places for all the food I am bringing home every week. I kind of lost control and space and just started throwing things in the pantry. Mitch spent the afternoon while I was teaching a class and organized the pantry for me. I was super thrilled!!!

Here is a picture of Jaxson with his Hadley cousins watching Finding Nemo! We took in some popcorn to keep them entertained. We walked in and they were all on the bed chowing down. It was so fun to watch them interact with one another. The Hadley boys are so good with Jaxs and Kolby! Mariam- I would take your boys ANYTIME DAY OR NIGHT!
Here is the newest edition to the Mitchell family, baby Samuel. When he was born we were having RSV at our house so I feel like we just haven't gotten to hold him enough!
Here is Jaxson playing hide and seek with his cousins!
Here we are after the day was over relaxing!
For a family outing we took the boys to the Mayan restaurant. It is a restaurant where there is a big waterfall and pool where people dive into it while you eat. There is music and narration that goes with it. Jaxson had a fun time and enjoyed the show.
After lunch we took the boys over to the Sandy Aquarium. The boys had a fun time watching all the underwater life and touching the sting rays. Jaxson's new word after the aquarium was "Shark"!

Our big news this month!!! Lewis graduated with a degree in Applied Sciences. Now we just need him to take his BIG test and he'll be a journeyman! After 4 years of working and night school we finally reached the end, only to start a new beginning. We are working on getting ready to apply to schools in the winter time. Next August we will make the big change and move back to student housing and be full time students. We are so excited. Until then we are just going to keep saving our pennies!!!
We finally had some updated family pictures taken! Mitch's cousin Shannon did an amazing job for us! She was so wonderful with out boys and I can't believe she managed to get these shots with my crazy boys! She has a website, here! You need to check her out. She charges and INCREDIBLE price! Thanks Shannon!

I celebrated my 23rd birthday on the 23rd of May! I honestly couldn't even remember how old I was turning until my dad reminded me it was my "special year", 23rd on the 23rd! I can't believe where I am at in my life. If someone had asked me 5 years ago where I saw myself, I am sure I wouldn't have been able to dream my life up! I am so lucky to have such a wonderful life!
My parents came into town and we celebrated all Memorial Weekend long. Friday we met and had dinner at Red Lobster. Saturday the boys went golfing early and they met my mom and I at the mall. My mom bought me some B-day presents and then we headed to Tucanos for lunch. After we headed up to ride the Heber Creeper. It was the Thomas weekend, so it was busy, but so much fun! We had so much fun on the train ride. Afterwards we drove around Heber and Midway. We attempted to feed some not so hungry ducks. Jaxson ran to the pond and jumped in! It made for a funny ending to a wonderful day. Sunday we had dinner at my dad's aunt and uncles house. We had a yummy dinner and a nice visit. Monday the boys went golfing early in the morning again and then we meet up to go to Heritage Farms baby animal day! It was so much fun! The boys had a blast riding the train and petting the baby animals. I had never been there before, but would recommend it to ANYONE! We had an early dinner together and then waved goodbye to gamma and gampa!
The boys wishing they were golfing rather than going to the mall with mom and grandma!
All Aboard the choo choo train!
The rocking back and forth put him right to sleep!
Loving the attention from Grandma and Grandpa
Yeah! We are finally at Heritage farms!
Petting the baby goats!

Playing with the ducklings and chicks! I was so sad when the worker told us a lot of the animals don't make it past baby animal days! After watching my own kids handle the animals I knew why!

Baby bunnies!

Mooing at the cows. Jaxson jumped into a running creek that the animals can drink out of. No suprise! More jumping into bodies of water!
My parents with the boys and I.
Waiting for the train to start.
Outside a pioneer cabin
Mitch getting a clean cut shave!
Dad walking on stilts! None of the rest of us could get it down, but dad did great! He was trying to teach a few of the kids who kept asking him how he was doing it! I told dad he only knew how because it was a toy OLD people use to play with!
Family picture!
AND THE BIG ANNOUNCEMENT....mom and dad bought this cute house right around the corner from us! J/K, but I wish it was true. I love being with my family. 600 miles is too far! I love having my parents come and visit. Not just because they spoil us rotten, but because we have FUN with them. I can't believe I just said that. In highschool I wouldn't have been caught dead with my parents. Now I love being with them. We can't wait until they retire and move close to us! Then we can have FREE babysitters! No, we really can't wait for them to come and be by us! We love you guys and miss you tons! This house is really Brigham Youngs house!
Cooking in the kitchen
Checking out Brigham Youngs pad!
There he is himself!
Leaving the park!
Jaxson feel asleep in grandpas arms at dinner. He started to feel a little warm, so we took him to the doctors after we said goodbye to gamma and gampa.
And sure enough both boys got sick! Here we are watching TV and taking a sick day! This year has been the WORST for us. Our ward doesn't even know we are all even a family. We are constantly taking one or neither boy to church.

On Saturday we took the boys to 7 Peaks with Chris, Em and little "C". We had so much fun. We had to pry Jaxs out of the water that day. We have lifetime memberships with our friends, so to go for an hour here and there is great! We beat the crowd and were ready to go by time it got super busy! Our only complaint is the new no outside food rule! Oh well, it was still a ton of fun!
WEE! Jaxson tried it by himself after and ended up going on his belly. He wasn't happy when he got down to the bottom!

Jaxson and Mitch had so much fun just jumping around and splashing each other!

That slide was much more for his size!

Kolby got so tired so fast! Him and I spent a lot of time watching from the side!
All tuckered out after a long day of playing in the sun!
We started planting our plants for the garden in March and have had no luck.....

J/K we just moved our babies out into the actual garden! We might have waited a little too long, but I guess we will see. We wouldn't have gotten it done without Mitch's parents help. They showed up one afternoon and weeded and tilled the whole garden for me. The next day I spent the day moving the plants from the greenhouse to the garden. It was a huge task that would still be left undone if we hadn't had help! Thank you for helping us mom and dad!

Yesterday we enjoyed out very first strawberry! I love gardens!
This next month I am really going to try hard and not leave my blogging until the frist of next month. Between working and all the fun we are having outside there just hasn't been enough hours in the day! I also know I have completley neglected to make comments on all of our dear family and friends blogs! We are still reading your blogs and loving watching how well everyone is doing. We think of you all often! Forgive us for not being better commenters!

The Rest of March and April Recap

I can’t believe what an awful blogger I have been. I honestly have had a hard time keeping up with the 100 things going on in my life. Between being mom, cooking dinner, cleaning, watching Stella twice a week, teaching Grocery Smarts classes 6 out of the 7 days a week, answering e-mails, taking and making phone calls, teaching primary, writing my brother on his mission, showering, organizing, and also being a wife I feel exhausted. I am lucky if I smell clean at the end of the day anymore. Mitch has seriously taken the ropes and been amazing. I finally broke one day and he suggested we split the chores around the house. All of a sudden I have a couple min each day to do something I enjoy. Thanks honey! He totally took the laundry task!!! I was so excited. The only thing I have a hard time doing now is finding matching socks! The least of my worries these days!

Celebrating Mitch’s 26th Birthday! We left the kids with my cousin and went to Tucanos with Mitch’s parents and shopping! What a fun day! A much needed date night. It’s pathetic that the only time we ever really get a date night is on our birthdays! We really should make more time for dates!
video
Watching Kolby go from baby, so “he is so big”. We can hardly keep up with him! Here is a cute video of him clapping his hands.

He is cruising along furniture, crawling like he has 100 limbs, and talking non-stop. Slow down baby boy!

Waiting for that yucky snow to disappear. When you end up with a foot of snow a few days after Easter you know the cold has out done its stay!

Trying new foods. Where he found this Oreo, we may never know!

He loves those Gerber puffs!

Cleaning up in the tub afterwards. Now that the boys are old enough to be on somewhat of the same schedule I have fallen in love with the idea of them being so close. I love that they are only 17 months apart. The two of them have so much fun together. I’ll I can think is that the best is still yet to come for them!

Being a fishy!

Playing Tag

Cutting 2 new teeth overnight. We had absolutely no idea Kolby was getting teeth in. He didn’t drool, pull his ear or even get fussy. Totally opposite from his big bro. When Jaxs cut a tooth you knew a month in advance and all the way until it broke through. Kolby was such a trooper. We can’t believe how easy going and laid back he is!

Saving TONS of money on Groceries, and arguing about where the extra money is going. A vacation or new golf clubs????

Enjoying conference Sunday. Winter and Chance came over for Breakfast and we played games late into the night. It is always such a wonderful time of year. I love hearing the words of the Prophets, trying to better myself and changing out my 72 hour kits!

He loves watching that spin and spin!

Having an Easter Party with the Parcell Family

Finally all 5 babies are here. They are in birth order: Sawyer, Fisher, Kolby, Mckinnley, and baby Samuel
The babies and their mommies, You would never guess Mariam had her baby in March! She looks amazing already!
Adi with Fisher and Brinley with Kolby. Brinley is such a doll and loves carrying Kolby around. He loves the extra attention from her!
Enjoying Easter with the Mitchell’s. Mariam and Spencer blessed baby Samuel that day. It was a wonderful day with family.

Redoing the house! I am going crazy with the crazy weather we are having. I feel like nothing is getting clean, so what did I do, re-decorate! The house has a whole new feel to it! Thanks honey for helping me out!

Enjoying Saturday naps-Lew home on a Saturday? I know! The weather has been to yucky to golf in, so he finds other things to do!

Milk

Jaxson loves milk! He would dip all of his food into it if he could. I especially love that milk is down to $1.40 these days!

We are loving having a fenced yard this summer! We are having lots of BBQ's with our friends and taking advantage of our beautiful yard! Thanks Cook and Em and Chance and Winter!

Sleeping Baby

Here is the first time Jaxson fell asleep on his own! I had made him come in from outside and he was throwing an absolute tantrum! I refused to put up with it and ended up leaving him in his room. After a couple min. of quite I assumed he has found something to play with. After a few more min of silence I figured he was making trouble. This was what I found! No complaints here! I guess being a boy can be exhausting!

Spring Cleaning

We are finally on the tail end of our Spring cleaning! We have taken loads to DI, moved appliances and furniture, cleaned blinds, scrubbed walls and organized closets. It feels so good to be ready for the nice weather, if would ever come!

I had no idea how hard it would be to spring clean with two little ones under foot. I felt like I would clean one room and move to the next and by time I was done, the room I thought was finished was destroyed!

Our Poor Baby Got Sicker

Kolby was taken by helicopter to Primary Children's Hospital for RSV. The hospital was so interested in his case that they asked us to do a news interview at the station!

We are so kidding! We decided to take the boys to visit the Discovery Gateway Museum in Salt Lake. It was the neatest thing. They have some of the coolest things for kids to do. We could have spent the entire day there.
Kolby really was there, he was just in his car seat the whole time sleeping. We left for SLC and he feel asleep and he was so good, he stayed in there the whole night. We didn't even get home until about 10pm. He is an amazingly low key baby! Lewis says we deserve one like that after our highly energized Jaxs!
